I'm developing http://CommunityGoals.com for people that want to raise money while also giving contributors a voice in the process. It is a little different than a traditional fundraising process because it gives the contributors the ability to vote on how the money will get spent. I would very much appreciate your feedback; the site is very much in its early stages.

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the Federal government's workplace giving campaign, and through it Federal donors have given more than $1.2 billion dollars to thousands of local, national, and international non-profits. If the CFC were a foundation, it would be the 10th largest foundation in the US in terms of actual giving.

www.cfcfundraising is my website, dedicated to bringing information to the non-profit community in plain English.

Regards,
Bill Huddleston, CFC Expert

Another resource that may be of interest to people looking for funding is Ashoka's collection of case studies of innovative organizations that have moved away from the traditional model of grants and foundation funding to a more grassroots, activating your community effort. They are referring to it as "building a citizen base of support."
