3 of the happiest thank you notes

July 3rd, 2008 · 3 Comments

I just signed three thank you notes that have given me more joy than any I’ve had the privilege to sign: one to each of my kids ages 8, 6, and 3.

On Father’s Day, they gave my breakfast in bed. They also each gave 25 cents to the Foundation.

They knew I raised money for a worth cause, so they wanted to help.

And I got to sign each of their letters just now. What a fulfilling experience!

    Hi Marc,
What a wonderful gift for Fathers Day! That will beat a tie or pair of socks any day of the year.

You’re a great Dad. You’ve not only taught your kids the joy of generosity, but with your thank you note you’ve demonstrated the joy of sharing gratitude. I love this post. :)

    Roger: You got that right!

Christy: Thanks! This was a “rewarding Dad” moment!
