My wife opened Google tonight and had a big blue arrow. When I opened Google the arrow was there too.

When you mouse over it, it says, “You’re invited to join Google+.”
Jump in, the water’s fine
I’d encourage you to check it out. There are some interesting features that will only get better including:
- Google’s organizing relationships in circles
- the great Hangout feature
- and the picture sharing (it’s incredibly fast from phone to web)
I think each of these have interesting potential for nonprofits.
Besides, it’s Google. Chances are great that they’ll keep integrating it into their other product and applications. So getting familiar with it now will put you ahead as the new features roll out!
