I just watched this video from Scott Harrison, founder of charity:water filmed at last year’s NextGenCharity conference.
Watch this. Scott’s background helped him to actually hear people’s objections to normal “charity.” So he set out to create a different kind of organization.
The video is only 25 minutes. But it’s packed with ideas. And he repeatedly talks about the tremendous results that come from simply asking people.
How can you apply Scott’s ideas to your organization? Use the comments to let us know.
UPDATE: If the video isn’t playable on this post, you can find it at http://www.nextgencharity.com/talks/scott_harrison_the_power_of_simple_messages
somehow I couldn’t get the 25 min clip to play..only the 1 min intro play???
Thanks for all the great advice you share!
Sorry it didn’t work. I’ve just re-embedded the player. You can try that again.
